When we first visited Château de Sanse, we were struck by how beautifully Tuscan it feels. With its warm stone walls, terracotta tiles and elegant cypress trees, the château has the atmosphere of a peaceful Italian villa. There’s something about the light, the rolling hills and the way the estate blends so naturally with its surroundings that evokes the charm of Tuscany.
Just a short drive from the château lies Saint-Émilion, the world-famous town celebrated for its exceptional Bordeaux vineyards and timeless charm. This medieval hilltop town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a delight to wander. Surrounded by prestigious Grand Cru estates, it offers wine tastings, breathtaking views and an unmistakably romantic atmosphere.
